PD and Pi have found their new treat - frozen green beans! It started because PD was gaining too much weight. He get's plenty of exercise but he was putting on more pounds than he should (sounds too familiar to many of us!) So, we switched PD to a lower calorie food and then after reviewing a treat list showing calories given to us by the vet I noticed green beans - very very low in calories. Well, I had given them frozen broccoli previously and they liked it so I started to give them frozen green beans. Now they know the words "green beans" and expect some every day. But! I don't feel guilty any longer giving them a "treat"!
